Dr. Michael J. Sehl, BSc, MD, CCFP (EM), Vice-President and Medical Director Corporate Health
Dr Mike Sehl joined AIM Health Group in 1996 as the Medical Regional Director of the Waterloo Region. Since 2008, he has been the Corporate Medical Director of WHCS (Workplace Health and Cost Solutions, a division of AIM Health Group) , providing a senior medical leadership role accountable for strategic direction of Workplace Health programs. This includes quality, planning, leadership, organization, administration, and evaluation of health services. He completed his MD in 1983 at the University of Toronto and has worked as a Emergency Physician, Family Physician and more recently a Hospitalist at St. Mary’s and Grand River hospital in Kitchener. He is a life long resident of the Waterloo region and is keenly interested in bringing the benefits of a medically lead, multi-disciplined, annual preventative health assessment program to the local business community. On Sept.1,2011 he will direct the opening of the AIM Corporate Health and Wellness Centre at TechTown in Waterloo. Focused on Waterloo Region's thriving business communtiy, he will bring health care services of an international standard not previously availble locally. He is a life long fitness enthusiast and “founding member” of Columbia Lake Health Club. He skis on weekends with his family in the Collingwood area and started competing in triathlons at age 51. Through his children at WCI, he was introduced to Caring Partners Global and now volunteers on their Board of Directors to help improve the health care and living conditions in Mantangwe Kenya.

Dr. Jim Ducharme, MD CM, FRCP, DABEM - Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice-President
Dr. James Ducharme, MD, CM, FRCP(c), DABEM, Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ducharme joined the Company in January 2009. Previously he was the Vice President of Medical Services of Med-Emerg International, since September 2006. He is a board certified emergency medicine specialist in both Canada and the United States, and has practiced clinically since 1981. He is a founder of both the Quebec Association of Emergency Physicians and the International Federation for Emergency Medicine. He is a Past President of the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians. Dr Ducharme has done extensive research and writing on the subject of acute pain management, and is recognized internationally as a speaker in Emergency Medicine. He has been a residency program director for emergency medicine trainees for 11 years at McGill and Dalhousie Universities and he is currently the Editor for the Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Roman Jovey, M.D. - Medical Director CPM Centres for Pain Management - a division of AIM Health Group Pain and Addiction Medicine
Dr. Jovey, a graduate of the University of Toronto, initially worked as a general practitioner and emergency physician for almost 20 years. Since 1991, Dr. Jovey has been treating outpatients with chronic pain and developed expertise in the medical management of pain. Over the past 15 years, he has presented workshops and seminars on this topic to over 10,000 health care professionals in Canada and internationally, and since 1999, his practice is solely focused on outpatient chronic pain management and addiction medicine and is recognized as an international leader in the field of chronic pain. He was the President of the Canadian Pain Society from 2005-2007 and continues to advocate for improved access to appropriate pain management for Canadians. He is a medico-legal expert for the Canadian Medical Protective Association in the areas of pain and addiction. He is currently the Medical Director at CPM Centres for Pain Management, where he is responsible for program development and education.

Dr. Adam Moscovitch, MD, FRCPC, DABSM, DABPN, DABFM - Director Sleep Fatigue Services – AIM Health Group
Dr. Adam Moscovitch, Director of Sleep-Fatigue Services, has the utmost level of expertise and passion to this extremely important and unique field of medicine. Dr. Moscovitch will assist in establishing consultative and integrative care paths linked to sleep deprivation and sleep disorders as it relates to patients with complex diseases such as our chronic pain population.

Dr. Anthony Chris Medical Co-Director Orthopedics - AIM Health Group Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Tony (Anthony) Chris is the AIM Co-Director of the Orthopedic Division of the AIM Health Group. Dr. Chris’s medical training as an orthopedic surgeon progressed through Queen’s University, Toronto General and University of Western Ontario. He is also an active member with the Ontario Orthopaedic Association, R.J. Hawkins and R. Steadman Fellowship Society (Sports Medicine) and he has been significantly involved in clinical research work, too. In addition, Dr. Chris is a long term resident of KW region having worked at St. Mary’s and Grand River Hospitals since 1989 with four children with his wife Eileen. Also, known as “coach Chris”…. Dr. Chris is an avid football enthusiast coaching for Resurrection High School and currently for the University for Waterloo Warriors.

Zach Weston MSc CK, MBA, ACSM-RCEP, CSEP-CEP
Zach Weston is a Certified Kinesiologist and Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo (BSc, and MSc) and Wilfrid Laurier University (MBA) and holds certifications with the American College of Sports Medicine and the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.
He has over 15 years experience working with a wide variety of clients including those in cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes/metabolic syndrome management, cancer, stroke and weight management. He is also regarded as an expert in strength and conditioning for athletic performance testing and training with a particular interest in Triathlon and Marathons and has worked with teams and athletes in the NHL, OHL, CFL, NFL, and OUA.
Zach is a Faculty member in the department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at Wilfrid Laurier University and a Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at Sheridan College where he teaches a variety of courses including Functional Human Anatomy, Nutrition for Human Health and Performance, Fitness Assessment, Advanced Exercise Prescription, Clinical Exercise Physiology, Professional Practice for Fitness Professionals and Business Administration.

Robert Chalmers B.Sc.(PT), B.A.(PHE), MCPA
Received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education (1986) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy (1989) from the University of Western Ontario. Robert has worked in Out Patient Orthopaedic Clinics for 22 years. Over the last 17 years he has worked at Olympia Rehab and AIM Olympia here in Waterloo. There has always been a special interest in sports injuries. He has worked as a sports therapist with a variety of teams at the local, provincial and national levels. Robert has consulted with industry for a number of years on the prevention of overuse injuries in the workplace. He enjoys time together with his wife Armanda and their four children. His hobbies include reading, skiing and playing golf.

Krista Liebner, HBSc MPT
Krista graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She went on to pursue physiotherapy, and graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2011 with a Masters of Physiotherapy degree. Krista enjoys swimming, cycling, long distance running and strength training. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, she has worked as a personal trainer, swimming instructor and lifeguard. Krista has a strong interest in orthopaedics and sports medicine. Currently, she has completed her level 1 manual therapy exam. She would like to continue her education in working towards a certification in advanced manual and manipulative therapy as well as a certification in acupuncture.

Kristin Bignell
Kristin is a recent graduate of SUNY Buffalo’s Exercise Science Program and previous member of the university’s NCAA Division I volleyball program. She has earned numerous awards throughout her undergraduate career for both athletic and academic achievements including The Outstanding Senior Award for the University’s Department of Exercise and Nutritional Science’s Class of 2011. As well, she was named to ESPN’s Academic All-District First Team in 2011. Kristin recently finished an internship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo where she worked with members of the multidisciplinary team at the hospital. While at Roswell, she did a research presentation for faculty and staff on the obesity-carcinogenesis link, including the favorable effects of diet and exercise on the mechanisms linking body fat with cancer risk, progression and outcome.

Dr. Robert Gregory Lusk
Dr. Lusk completed an undergraduate health sciences degree at the University of Western Ontario, graduating in 2001. He then pursued further study at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, completing the four year program in 2006. Dr. Lusk is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and has worked with local minor hockey players, as well as university athletes, employing functional exercise to improve athletic performance.
Dr. Lusk takes a very active approach to injury and pain management. His treatment style is largely manual, involving much soft tissue therapy, joint manipulation or mobilization, stretches, and progressive exercise. Therapeutic modalities and orthotics are also used when indicated. He plans to continue his education in soft tissue treatment techniques, rehabilitative exercise, and medical acupuncture in the near future.
Dr. Lusk has a diverse athletic background and is passionate about active living.

Mary Kolosowski RMT
Mary Kolosowski is registered with the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario and has completed her RMT diploma from Everest College, Hamilton. Mary started her career in pain management working at rehabilitation clinics in Burlington and Oakville. Mary is also bilingual, speaking polish fluently. Mary continues to add to her therapeutic skill base and is currently studying Matrix Repatterning (CMRP certification), a revolutionary manual approach, which addresses the primary sources of tension in the connective tissue-fascial system in an effective pain free manner.

Caroline Valeriote RD
Member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario, Dietitians of Canada
Caroline received a 4-year Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Guelph in 1988. She obtained a Certificate of Dietetic Internship from the Brantford General Hospital in 1989 and a Diploma in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1993. Caroline has practiced in a variety of settings including clinical, university, public health and private practice. She spends many hours as a supportive parent with her children who are pursuing classical musical studies and several sports interests.

Stephanie Clairmont, RD
Stephanie Clairmont is a Registered Dietitian and nutrition coach living in the Waterloo Region. Stephanie completed her four-year Bachelor's degree at the University of Guelph in Applied Human Nutrition and went on to complete a Master's degree at the University of Toronto in Community Nutrition. She has completed a culinary certificate through Liaison College in Kitchener and enjoys blending her love of food with her passion for health and wellness. Stephanie is the 2010 national recipient of the Speaking of Food and Healthy Living Award: Excellence in Consumer Communication. She has developed many programs, resources and tools to help clients connect the knowledge of nutrition to day-to-day life. Stephanie works with her clients through a patient-centred approach focusing on what's really important to them. She provides nutrition counselling, support and encouragment along with 10 years of nutrition knowledge and experience. Stephanie believes the way to health is to include real, wholesome and delicious food every day.

Elizabeth Popham, RD
I have worked in clinical care as a Dietitian for 25 years with experience in hospital, outpatient and home based settings. For the past 12 years I have been co-director for Access Nutrition Inc which contracts to the Community Care Access Centre. Services have been delivered to all ages and included general nutrition assessments to specific concerns such as diabetes, cardiac, weight loss, vegetarianism, respiratory and gastroenterology. I have enjoyed the diversity of my career and am excited to be part of the proactive approach of the AIM team.

Anita Langlois, Clinic Manager
Anita is the Clinic Manager of our Corporate Health and Wellness Centre in Waterloo. She holds an Honours Bsc in Biology from the University of Waterloo and brings over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining the AIM team, Anita spent over 6 years working as an Ophthalmic Technician. During these years, she was part of a diverse surgical team; testing patients, consulting and assisting with various eye surgeries throughout South Western Ontario.
She then moved on to a management position within a busy optometrist office and after taking a break to spend time with her growing family, is now excited and proud to manage AIM’s first Corporate Health and Wellness Centre. If you are visiting our centre, please don’t hesitate to say ‘hi’ to Anita if you see her around, as one of her favourite parts of being in health care, is the people!

MARY RADYK
Mary Radyk is a registered nurse with the RNAO (Registered Nursing Association of Ontario) with 24 years of diverse experience in the fields of acute care hospital nursing, clinical research and private medical care. Mary is a native of the Kitchener Waterloo region and has provided her nursing skills at all four of the community hospitals. Mary is highly respected by her peers, an extremely personable and caring person allowing her patients to feel comfortable and at ease while under her care. Mary exemplifies a healthy living lifestyle, balanced with a proper diet and daily exercise and brings a strong positive attitude to all of her daily activities. Mary has been involved with AIM for over 10 years and is excited about being part of this new venture of proactive, preventative health care in the KW region.

FADIA ELIAS
Fadia graduated from the RPN program in 2000 from Sir George Ross School and is a member of the CNO. She has practiced her skills in a number of settings, including long term care facilities, taking care of the ageing population. After spending a number of years at St.Marys Hospital on the Medical and Palliative floor, Fadia completed the Operating Room course at Conestoga College, and began work in the OR at ST. Mary’s Hospital. Fadia also has experience within private cosmetic surgery clinics.
Fadia has nursed people through some of their best and worst moments. She is very excited to be part of the AIM team as she feels she is now part of one of the most important parts of health care: education, prevention and helping people maintain good healthy lifestyles.
